S P expects that credit rating

S P expects that the credit rating of Russia will not be an investment for at least another 1-2 years

International rating agency Standard Poor"s expects that Russia's credit rating will not be an investment, probably at least another 1-2 years. This was announced by the head of the division of sovereign ratings agency Moritz Kraemer told Reuters.

"We believe that the rating (Russia - ed Tass.) For at least a year or two will remain in non-investment grade" - he said.

Speaking about the possible withdrawal or partial lifting of US sanctions, he said that "it is too early to tell" how the situation will develop with the sanctions, and also does not believe that it significantly affects the rating.

"It (the removal of the US sanctions) is not so important (in Russia - ed.), From the economic point of view, as would be the case, change the sanctions regime of the EU, as Russia's trade with the EU is much broader," - said Moritz Kraemer.

Last fall, S P raised the outlook on Russia's sovereign credit rating to "stable" from "negative", confirming itself rating at 'BB +'.
