According to the first vice-premier of Russia Igor Shuvalov, the states that are part of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) managed to find a way out of the global economic crisis. At the economic forum in Issyk-Kul, Mr. Shuvalov said that the EAEC is not a political project in Russia and the foundation of the project is economic integration.
"I have high hopes that the EAEC will deploy a new wave of integration within the CIS free trade zone. It will be more wide-format integration and will provide additional economic development association for countries "- quoted Igorya Shuvalova" Interfax ". Also, the first vice-premier spoke about the progress of negotiations with Iran and Singapore on a free trade zone (FTZ).
